Bottle Tree Park

Visited The Bottle Tree Park on a whim, actually BF and I were sitting on the bus going to KTPHS (Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Singapore)  then I saw the bus went pass the park. Heard of the famous bottle tree for some time, so I wanted to take a look and try out my new DSLR!

Bottle Tree Park History: First opened in 2005 at Yishun area.
"It is the second Bottle Tree outlet opened by Bottle Tree Pte Ltd. This is a living testimony of 5 men driven by their dream and vision to create a concept village where there will be sports, recreational facilities, conference rooms, eateries and more, all in a natural setting."

Admission is free as well!! I like the atmosphere there, really relaxing. People are so free that most of them are fishing, prawning or feeding the fishes. Nothing is fanciful over there, just the natural kampong feeling. As the world becomes more and more developed, you will really wish to have a place that you can come to when you want to get away from reality and stress.

This is what I call a playground. Not the neighbourhood kind that uses foam as a cushion. I love sandy playground. Remembering the times where I can kick my shoes off and sink my feet into those sand!

Some students probably younger than me (-.-) caught some really huge fish (think it's a catfish of sorts?)
Really huge, don't you think so?

Took this lotus flower. It's not really opening that beautifully. But just want to capture it and play around with photoshop! What do you think?

This is the famous bottle tree! There's only 1 in this park (I think). You will not miss it!

Random thoughts: Where will your path take you?

Families relaxing with their kids. And it was a weekday? Parents no need to work de ah?

They also have a seafood restaurant there. So you can have your lunch and dinner in a very relaxed manner. Best of all, the park is opened to midnight. Can go there dating and enjoy small chats over there. (:
